Life

Well life is moving forward but I have been in a slump,  I am not focused and it definitely shows. I have so many stressors in my life right now and my immune system is low because of it. I also got my first ulcer and after over a month of pain I finally got relief.... So what am I to do?  I am definitely one of those people who shuts down when I feel overwhelmed, I look around me and see a million things that need to be done and I do nothing instead of trying to tackle them.

*Sigh*
I guess it could be called procrastination, but I avoid all these tasks more from the feeling of being overwhelmed rather than just putting it off.

Well today is a new day. It is day 3 of week 4 (I put my couch to 5 K progress on hold the last 2 weeks) and I have new determination to tackle some stuff on my to do list. #1. Make a To Do List

Life continues

Week 3 has been a battle,

Monday: 25 min interval with a new 3 min jog... UGH But I did it! (1.2 Mi)

Tuesday: 1 Hr 130bpm walk (3.5 Mi)

Had a death in the family Wednesday, at the hospital and families house all day.

Thursday to tired from being up till 2am, went to bed at 5PM.

Friday: Today.... Feeling sick and in the potty all day, son had  a fever this morning, didn't go to work. Debating about going to the Gym... I still have 2 hours to decide

Next Week:

Monday funeral

Tuesday: I wonder if I should repeat week 3 in my "couch to 5K program" since technically I only did the intervl once this week. I am not sure if I can do Week 4's intervals (4 and 5 min jogging). Maybe I will try week 4's interval and then dial down if it is to difficult to keep up with.

Man I am tired today, I should really stay away from caffeine. I had one 20oz diet coke and couldnt fall sleep till 3:ooam.  I become more like my mother every year!

So I am in week 2 of my 10 weeks "couch to 5K" I am using a Podcast from itunes entitled "Podrunner-Intervals".I am enjoying it so far, although I do love the Podcast "Motion Traxx" because they have a larger variety.  I did not go to the gym today, I took a nap on the couch from 5:00-7:00 instead. I plan on doing some weight intervals after class though :)

I have always been a 'fit' person but getting this "baby weight" off  has been a struggle (I use quotations because it has been 8 years,).  My diagnosis of PCOS has helped because the medications to help regulate the hormones has made a difference already. (10lbs in 6 weeks!), and I am now motivated to work out more enthusiastically again with the hope that I will see some movement in the scale

Christmas Gifts

I know it is a bit early to think about Christmas, well it's actually only 5 months way now. I always like t be crafty and create gifts for my family but I always seem to start late and don't get them finished in time :)  So This year I started in Feb and I have 4 of the 20 complete.  ... Probably not everyone will get a handmade gift this year either but I am going to keep at it.  I will post pics if my phone will co-operate!

Long Day...

It was  crazy day today at work, We opened with half the classes flooded from a broken pipe, thus making us combine classes,  17 two year-old's in a room designed for 12 was 'fun'! I think the over 100* heat index just added to my crankiness...

Hello Out There *echo*echo*echo*

Hello All,
I am a working mother and a Housewife.  I must admit that my 'Boys' are spoiled rotten and their only chores are trash for the son and mowing for the hubby.  I like to think that I am coordinated and not to clumsy and while I am learning how to juggle my son's music schedule, sports schedule, my husbands rotating days off and my life as a Full-time housewife, Full-time professional, and Full-time Student.... Whew.  Yes I can because I am a Super Mom! :D
